DJ Marko has been a resident at Belgian club, La Rocca, for the best part of two decades; he's been voted Belgium's best progressive DJ; and has a remarkable talent for judging the crowd's vibe and getting the music for the night spot on.
Having played first at private parties in the 80's, Marko got into house in the early 90's and became a regular at The Vaudeville. He was soon asked to become resident at La Rocca in 1991 for their legendary Sunday night slot, and has played alongside the likes of Armand van Helden, David Guetta, David Morales, Armin van Buuren and Sasha, to name but a few.
In this clip, Marko explains how he keeps the dancefloor moving and tells us about his favourite ever gig, which was in Poland... He tells us about the ease of using Pioneer equipment, and parts on his top nightclub tip...you have to dance!
